Medical Warrior Event
This April, we had a different kind of card event—one focused on giving gratitude to healthcare professionals! We are so excited for our first Thank your Favorite Medical Warrior card event, which kicked off on March 30th, National Doctor's Day.
This event was a bit different from our usual card events because we sent these gorgeous cards to our illness warriors and caregivers, who then filled them out and sent them to their favorite medical warrior—the one who has made a huge difference in their health journey. Medical warriors could be a doctor, nurse, PA, NP, PT, OT, or even a favorite phlebotomist!
Our medical warriors are struggling more than ever with their mental health as well as facing burnout and extreme fatigue. We're hoping to remind them how much they matter by showering them with gratitude!

A lover of digital art that speaks to the heart and chronicles the odyssey of life with a chronic illness or rare disease, Cheryl uses her voice and her art to encourage and uplift fellow warriors! She created this beautiful card that shows the sun peeking out from behind the darkest clouds - a perfect metaphor for those who shine a light when we are in our darkest times.
